Storm tide evacuation zones for Queensland
In partnership with local councils and the Department of Environment and Science, we have developed the state-wide Storm Tide Evacuation Zone Web Application for the Queensland coastline. This web application identifies evacuation zones in the event of a storm tide, to support community messaging and risk-informed planning.
Please remember in the event of a storm tide, listen to your local radio station for information, warnings and advice. If you are unable to evacuate in time, please seek shelter in the upper storey of a sturdy brick or concrete building.
