Mount Tibrogargan (Sunshine Coast) - fall from cliff

Emergency services were called around 11am to Mount Tibrogargan, Glasshouse Mountains, to a woman of unknown age who had tumbled approximately 30 metres down a ledge onto rocks. The woman sustained extensive bruising and suspected fractures. State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers, four paramedics and five firefighters walked approximately one kilometre and manoeuvred down a cliff approximately 30 to 40 metres to locate the woman. Emergency services personnel then transported the woman by stretcher, on foot, to an area suitable for winching operations. The woman was winched out of the area by the AGL Rescue Helicopter and airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Her condition is unknown.
