George Healy Shield -Presented to the Queensland Champion Firefighter
George Healy came to Brisbane Metropolitan Fire Brigade from Melbourne Metropolitan as a Station Officer in 1942 and was appointed Chief Officer in 1946. The Trophy perpetuates the memory of a past, colourful and popular Fire Officer.
Alan Leslie Pash Shield -Presented to the winner of Event 1
In honour of Auxiliary Firefighter Alan Pash of Glenden, passed away 11th September 1997. Alan was actively involved in Firefighter Competitions within his region.
QAFA Encouragement Shield -Presented to the team who demonstrate oustanding enthusiasm and great sportsmanship
Representatives of QAFA (Queensland Auxiliary Firefighters Association) will award this shield to the team who demonstrate oustanding enthusiasm and great sportsmanship throughout the competition. The QAFA has been a long term supporter of Firefighter Competitions.
BROOKS Shield -This shield is presented to the winner of Event 5
Brooks has been a long time supporter of QFRS Firefighter Competitions at both regional and state levels.
NSWFB Firefighter Championship Association Shield -Presented to the winner of Event 9
Originally presented to the winner of the BA event,(since 2005) presented to the winner of open water event. The NSWFB Firefighter Championship Association is a major partner with QFRS in advancing Firefighter Competitions to the Australasian level.
QFRS Rural Operations Shield -Presented to the winner of Event 10
Event 10 utilises rural pumpers and equipment. This event demonstrates the firefighting capability of all firefighters through the sharing of operational resources and equipment.
