Queensland Firefighter Championship Officials and Judges
A significant number of “Expressions of Interest” were received from qualified/experienced regional firefighter competition officials keen to officiate at the Queensland Firefighter Championship. Championship Registration
All teams, family, supporters, championship officials, Expo Staff, volunteers and all attending the Championship must complete and forward a championship registration form.

Championship Teams
Travel and Accomodation Arrangements
Contact your local QFRS Area/Regional Office for approved travel arrangements to and from the Championship. Travel arrangements will be in accordance with QFRS approved Travel and Accommodation Business Rule for firefighter competitions QFRS SO-Q-PD-2.1.

All Teams and Officials need to be at the venue on Thursday for Championship registration and briefings.
"Please note that accommodation is on a shared basis. Families and supporters are encouraged to attend the Championship and accommodation is available at a reasonable rate"
Team Championship Banner
Championship Teams are encouraged to design and display their Championship Banner both at the competition grounds during the events and at the Saturday evening Championship Presentation Dinner.
Your Arrival at the Championship Venue
Championship Registration:
(Thursday from 1000 hours to 2100 hours).
ALL Championship Team members and supporters, families, officials, EXPO staff, support personnel and guests are requested that on your arrival, you first report to the Championship Registration at the competition venue

- Receive your Championship information package
- Be provided with details of Championship events, functions and other activities
- Opportunity to purchase additional function/meal vouchers
- Finalise your personal payment details
Championship Team Briefing
Team Captain's/Officals Briefing - Thursday Night
VENUE – CHAMPIONSHIP WELCOME FUNCTION
Final clarification for events may be raised with the Chief Judge at the Team Captain’s/Officials Briefing on Thursday evening: 1930 hours to 2030 hours.
Championship Uniforms
The following uniform dress will be required for the Championship events and functions:
Team members: Level 1 operational uniform (overalls, etc), boots, socks, epaulettes, and rank insignia, gloves (rigger) and firefighting helmet (standard operational uniform dress).
Officials/Judges: Station wear uniform, including station wear shirt, trousers, QFRS belt, boots, socks, epaulettes and rank insignia, name badge, ribbons and fur felt hat.
NOTE: Yes it is winter and you may require appropriate QFRS winter wear
Station/brigade uniform, including station wear shirt, trousers, QFRS belt, boots, socks, epaulettes & rank insignia, ribbons & name badge (QFRS winter wear as required).
Dress for team partners, supporters & invited guests – smart casual (Jackets may be worn)
Note: QFRS Executive/Senior Officers – tunics required on this occasion.
Championship Functions
Dress is casual and TEAMS are encouraged to wear their team shirts

(Bus transportation is provided from your accommodation)
Banquet style dinner and refreshments.Dress is uniform (QFRS executive/senior officers - tunics required for this occasion
and smart casual for guests (Jackets may be worn)
Pre-dinner drinks from 1800 hours, seated for dinner by 1900 hours and
Dinner served at 1915 hours
Breakfast and lunch will be available for ALL Championship Team members and families, supporters, officials, support personnel and guests at the competition venue.
Breakfast at the Grounds - Friday and Saturday mornings from 0600 hours to 0900 hours.
Lunch at the Grounds - Friday and Saturday 1200 hours to 1300 hours.
