With the formation of the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service on July 1, 1990 by amalgamating the eighty-one fire boards into one fire service, came the need to establish sub-committees to manage specific tasks of the organisation. The Queensland Firefighter Championship Committee (SFCC) was established to coordinate and support Queensland firefighter competitions. The following list of appointed membership to this Committee acknowledges their efforts in furthering the aims of firefighter competitions.
