Welcome to the Queensland Firefighter Competitions Website. This site is an invaluable tool to disseminate information regarding events, history, rules, policies, photos and of course, results. Competitions give firefighters the opportunity to enhance their operational skills, build stronger teams, establish camaraderie with other stations and brigades around the state and pass invaluable fire safety information on to local communities. They provide the incentive and challenge for all firefighters to strive for recognition at a local, regional, state and national level. The new direction of competitions has delivered positive results across QFRS and it is equally pleasing to note the increasing participation of rural brigades and composite teams of both permanent and auxiliary personnel.
