Total Cost of Fires Research Project

This major research project, announced October 2001, is set to address the impact of major fires on the economy and local community.

The project will give the QFRS a comprehensive and accurate look into the total impact of fires on the community, including long-term impacts such as loss of jobs, insurance and re-establishment costs.
