Chemical and hazardous material management

The QFRS responds to chemical spills and other hazardous materials incidents. Firefighters are equipped with protective chemical suits, and work with the Counter Disaster & Rescue Services Chemical Hazards Unit to safely manage hazardous substances and minimise risk to the community and the environment.
